autovacuum_analyze_scale_factor

The analyze trigger is autovacuum_analyze_threshold + autovacuum_analyze_scale_factor × n_live_tup, default factor 0.1. It refreshes the planner’s statistics, and stale statistics are a quiet outage: row estimates drift, plans flip, partition pruning stops working. High-churn tables and partitions want a static trigger (factor 0, fixed threshold), because ten percent of a big partition is far past the point where plans went wrong.

Autovacuum never analyzes a partitioned parent, only the leaves. Schedule a manual ANALYZE on the parent if planner estimates across partitions matter.
